I have been managing the Chemistry Library since October 2013 and for 15 years before that I managed the University's Zoology Department library so I have experience of supporting biological and physical science researcher needs. At Chemistry I train all new postgraduate students in RDM and give advice on compliance with open access and data sharing mandates.

Hi I'm Michael, I was appointed the new Research Laboratory Technician within the CCMM group at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy. I have a BSc in Chemistry and an MSc in Nanomaterials and Materials Science but what I am passionate about is computers whether that be software or hardware. I am always looking to advance my skills and help others do so which is why I joined the Data Champions.

I'm employed by the National Centre for Atmospheric Science, based in the Chemistry Department. I'm interested in atmospheric chemistry, climate models and using climate model data to answer research questions.
