Biography

In my role as Academic Services Librarian, I manage services delivered in the Haddon Library with a specific focus on supporting teaching and research for the Departments of Archaeology and Social Anthropology. I am also the Research Support Lead for the Humanities and Social Sciences Libraries Team, working across the School of HSS to support research excellence and training as well as assisting in exercises such as the REF.

Biography

Haifeng Niu is a research associate in the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. He received his PhD in Land Economy from the Lab of Interdisciplinary Spatial Analysis (LISA). His research interests include urban big data mining, spatial data science, geographic information visualization, and dynamic simulation.

Biography

I am a Research Associate in the Faculty of Education, working with The EdTech Hub. The project focuses upon using educational technology in low- and middle-income countries. Before joining the Faculty, I was a visiting fellow at the Institute of Educational Technology at the Open University, working primarily with the Open Education Research Hub. In addition to questions around mixed-methods data management in the Social Sciences, I am also particularly interested in open research, digital scholarship and licensing for data reuse.
