Areas Of Expertise:
R language, Statistical analysis, Experimental design, Audiovisual data
My PhD projects explore how preschoolers acquire the sounds of their language(s) in a setting in which input is highly variable. I'm a trained phonetician, and my work is largely empirical and involves methodologies that collect speech data across a variety of speech styles. I have also some experience in exploring attitudes towards accent features using the matched-guise technique.
