Biography

I'm a PhD student and Gates Cambridge Scholar studying psychology at St John's College. Broadly, I examine the psychometric properties of Internet big data; my current research explores how social media data predict personality traits and dimensions of mental illness. In general, I'm interested in social data science, the overlap of clinical disorders with everyday personality traits, and personality differences across cultures.

Biography

Yiqiao is a PhD student in the Department of Land Economy and a member of Churchill College. She holds an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration from the Department of Land Economy, University of Cambridge. Yiqiao is exploring the integration of Agent-based model with new dataset beyond Census in simulating smart governance in several growing and shrinking UK cities. Her research interests cover urban data analysis (social media data and census data), dynamic modelling and simulating urban systems, urban shrinkage and policy evaluation.
