Biography

I’ve been working in the Department of Psychiatry for almost a decade now. I specialise in improving process and workflow and in research data management. I also work in branding, digital recruitment, website design and administration, social media management, and data architecture. I am particularly good at thinking of new and creative solutions to emerging problems. I am currently working on ways to govern and organise the many research projects within my department and in the School of Clinical Medicine, and on creating ways to share research and imaging data (MRI, PET etc) openly.

Biography

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in archaeology and information management. I am currently working on the MAEASaM project, contributing to the digital preservation of African heritage. I previously worked in similar roles on heritage data management at BIAA and in the Imagining Futures project.

I am interested in everything at the intersection of heritage and information technologies. My special interest is contemporary and ephemeral heritage, especially street art, which I see as an important form of “history from below.” I am especially interested in how today’s heritage can be preserved for the benefit of future colleagues.
