Biography

Marina has a PhD from the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Department at the University of Cambridge. She has previous industrial experience in R&D by working with multinational companies and start-ups. Currently, Marina is a Research Analyst at the Strategic Partnerships Office. She is responsible for research and analysis on international projects and partnerships to provide support to the Head of Public International Partnerships, the Strategic Partnerships Managers, and senior academics across the University. Biography

I joined the Office of Scholarly Communication in November 2018 as Research Data Coordinator for the Research Data Management Facility. I manage the Data Champion Programme as part of my role. I have a PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research from 2009–2017, specialising in human evolution and Palaeolithic archaeology.

Biography

Dr Ulla Sovio, Senior Research Associate in Applied Medical Statistics, studies the prediction of adverse pregnancy outcomes. Her research interests include clinical risk prediction, development of screening tools, and application of longitudinal growth modelling and time-to-event analysis methods. Sovio is currently analysing biomarker data to further improve the identification of high risk pregnancies.
