 I am a Geoinformatics Engineer. I have been actively contributing to the geospatial domain in both Academia and Industry since 2015. During this time I have used my expertise to make end-to-end solutions from data acquisition, data management and provision of services in the application areas of Urban planning, Vehicle tracking, Rescue services, Location based services and Archaeology.

As the Research Support Librarian at the Department of Engineering I am part of the Technology Libraries team providing library services for the Departments of Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, and Computer Science and Technology. My role includes providing training and advice on research data management and open data. I became a Data Champion in my previous role as the Library Manager at the Cambridge Conservation Initiative, supporting nature conservation researchers from the university and NGOs. I have previous experience, from research during masters degrees, working with ethnographic data in libraries and statistical analysis of palaeobiology data using R.

Marina has a PhD from the Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Department at the University of Cambridge. She has previous industrial experience in R&D by working with multinational companies and start-ups. Currently, Marina is a Research Analyst at the Strategic Partnerships Office. She is responsible for research and analysis on international projects and partnerships to provide support to the Head of Public International Partnerships, the Strategic Partnerships Managers, and senior academics across the University. She is also responsible for the website development and management.
