Dr Aurora Lixinhao Gao holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, conferred with No Corrections. Her research lies at the intersection of linguistics, psychology, and education, with a particular focus on multilingual acquisition and artificial intelligence. Aurora previously earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) with Distinction from the University of Cambridge, where she was awarded the Best Dissertation Award, the Master’s Prize, and achieved the highest overall mark in her cohort (80/100). Prior to her graduate studies, she majored in Spanish Philology and minored in Applied Psychology, graduating as the top student with First-class Honours degrees and receiving the Best Dissertation Award. Aurora serves as a lecturer, research associate, and data champion at the University of Cambridge. In addition, she is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Beyond academia, Aurora passionately dedicates herself to the art of violin performance and the mastery of multiple languages.
