If you’re a Cambridge researcher, you can request a review of your draft Data Management Plan. Our Research Data team will:
- spot missing or unclear information
- suggest improvements
- check that your plan meets your funder's policies
This feedback will help you to avoid common issues, such as unclear storage plans or missing consent details.

You can request a Data Management Plan review using our online form. You should:
- send your plan to us at least 7 working days before your grant deadline
- make sure it follows your funder's data management policies
- consider completing the University's Information Security Risk Assessment
