Alexandra Gushurst-Moore is the Research & Impact Coordinator of the Fitzwilliam Museum and Coordinator of Cambridge Visual Culture. Her doctoral thesis, entitled “The Making of Modern Fantasy in the Visual Arts of England, ca. 1850–1920”, was supervised by Elizabeth Prettejohn at the University of York. She holds an MA(Hons) from the University of Edinburgh and an MSt from the University of Oxford. Beyond her research, she has professional experience of and interest in British educational policy, the strategy and operation of HEIs and the facilitation of inclusive and supportive research cultures.

As Marshall Librarian I have taken an active role in supporting the Faculty of Economics with research. I have experience of supporting Open Access and Copyright. I have also completed Masters level training in RDM in my previous role at University of Sheffield. Craig Peacock, IT Manager in Economics, and I are working together as Research Data Champions in the Faculty. We are exploring training opportunities for undergraduates and all new postgraduate students in RDM and we have also given advice on completing ESRC Data Management Plans to academic staff making grant applications.

Before joining the Engineering Library in 2017, I worked in a variety of roles around Cambridge, including supporting researchers with effective communication of their work. I currently support resource and training provision in areas including research skills, open access, reference management etc.
