If you have some basic working knowledge with the Python programming language or you are beginning to manage your data fluently in other programming languages and want to learn more about Python, some data champions will be running a one-day session on Thursday 12th October in the Downing Site

This course will cover functions and modules and requires some basic programming skills as described in the link to the training page.

This session will open with a talk and Q&A session exploring Wikidata, ContentMine, and WikiCite. The talk will cover how Wikidata relates to the systematic text mining of the scientific literature, as well as the creation on Wikidata of an open collection of bibliographical and citation data.
